Ted Paetkau, P. Eng. Board Chair

Ted Paetkau, Board Chair and Founder of Concord Projects Ltd., brings a sound base of knowledge and experience to every project. As a professional engineer, he has worked in the construction industry since 1972, founded Concord Projects Ltd. in 1978, and continues to effectively manage a group of seasoned professionals. Ted’s experience in the industry and as a business owner helps to ensure that careful attention is paid to quality and efficiency so that clients know that they are getting value for their dollar. Ted is also the Board Chair for iDE-Canada and Vice Chair for iDE International.

Nolan Ploegman, MBA
Nolan Ploegman, MBA President

Nolan Ploegman joined Concord Projects Ltd. in 2005 and oversees all aspects of the company. Nolan has attained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) as well as a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours), majoring in finance and accounting, from the Asper School of Business. Nolan’s experience and knowledge in real estate development, real estate investing and property management also provide clients with added value. Nolan also serves on the Board of Directors for Youth For Christ – Winnipeg.

Pierre Laurin, G.S.C.
Pierre Laurin, G.S.C. Senior Vice President, Construction

Pierre Laurin contributes a wealth of experience to Concord Projects Ltd. team gained from many years in the construction industry. Since he joined Concord in 1985, Pierre has worked as site superintendent, project manager and construction manager. He is a third year journeyman carpenter and is Gold Seal Certified by the Canadian Construction Association in meeting the national standards of professional experience and education

Daniel Gauthier, G.S.C., CEC
Daniel Gauthier, G.S.C., CEC Senior Vice President, Project Development

Daniel Gauthier is an invaluable member of the Concord Projects Ltd. team, having been with Concord since 1980. Dan is Gold Seal Certified for estimating from the Canadian Construction Association and is a member of the Alberta Chapter of the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors. His responsibilities include project costing and analysis, project development and management, proposal work and client contract formalization, civic approvals as well as negotiating and awarding of contracts to subtrades.

Harald Schulz
Harald Schulz Senior Vice President, Project Development

Harald Schulz started at Concord Projects in 1988 and has accumulated extensive experience in facilities and project management, land development, civic liason, job costing and contract negotiations. His primary roles with the company are business development, project management and estimating. He graduated from Red River College with Honours and has a Diploma in Business Administration. His responsibilities include ensuring that project costs and details are managed in the client’s best interests
