  • 1978Concord Projects Founded

    Concord Projects Ltd. was founded by Ted Paetkau.
  • First Project

    Concord's first project, St. Luke's Zion Lutheran Church was built for $239,000.
  • 1979Vickar Community Chevrolet Oldsmobile

    Concord's automotive expertise begins with Vickar Community Chevrolet Oldsmobile at 964 Regent Avenue West.
  • 1980Bethel Place

    Bethel Place, a 133-unit apartment block, is built. Construction cost was under $30,000 per unit and interest rates were approaching 20%.
  • 1982Concord Relocates

    Concord relocates its office of four employees to 1215 Henderson Highway.
  • 1983Villa Cabrini

    During difficult economic conditions, Villa Cabrini, one of Winnipeg's largest mixed-use projects of the time is completed.
  • 1984Vita Health Pharmaceuticals

    Concord completes its first design-build pharmaceutical project for Vita Health Products.
  • 1989Jim Gauthier Chevrolet Oldsmobile

    The largest and most modern dealership at the time, Jim Gauthier Chevrolet Oldsmobile located at 1400 McPhillips, is completed.
  • 1992Palliser Furniture

    Concord completes an office renovation for Palliser Furniture, the beginning of a long-term relationship between the two firms.
  • 1994New Location, New Logo!

    Concord constructs and moves into a new office building at 1277 Henderson Highway. A new logo is also introduced this year.
  • 1996First in the new Waverley Auto Mall

    Dan Murray Chevrolet is the first of several automotive projects for Concord Projects in the new Waverley Auto Mall.
  • 2001Biovail Expansion

    Pharmaceutical giant, Biovail, hires Concord for its plant expansion in Steinbach, Manitoba. This is Concord's largest project to date.
  • 2002Homestead Manitoba - Kildonan House

    Concord completes Kildonan House, its first of many assisted living projects for Homestead Manitoba.
  • 2003Concord Celebrates 25 Years

    Concord celebrates 25 years in business and builds a house for Habitat for Humanity.
  • 2005Fire Mountain Lodge in Canmore

    Concord ventures into Alberta for the first time to build the Fire Mountain Lodge in Canmore.
  • 2008Spanning Over a Retention Pond

    Concord completes the very challenging RTDS / TGS building spanning over a retention pond in the Smart Park Development at the University of Manitoba.
  • 2011The YFC Centre for Youth Excellence

    The YFC Centre For Youth Excellence at Higgins and Main is completed. A striking building improving the North End of Winnipeg's Downtown.
  • 2013The First Project for Bentall Kennedy

    The first project for Bentall Kennedy / bcIMC is built 152,000 square foot multi-tenant distribution centre. It is the largest high cube industrial building of its kind built in Winnipeg in over a decade.
  • 2014New Logo

    Concord Projects expands its office building and introduces a new logo.
  • 2015Nolan Ploegman Becomes President

    January 1, 2015, Nolan Ploegman becomes President & CEO of Concord Projects.
  • Marpeck Commons

    Grand Opening held for the new Canadian Mennonite University (CMU) Library named Marpeck Commons.
  • 2017Concord Projects Foundation Established

    The Concord Projects Foundation established as a registered charity.
  • 2018Audi Winnipeg

    Audi Winnipeg is open for business. The newest luxury auto dealership in Winnipeg is built by Concord.
  • Concord Projects Celebrates 40 Years

    Concord Projects celebrates 40 years in business at The Met on Donald Street.
  • 2019State-of-the-art Fitness Facility

    State-of-the-art, 78,000 square foot fitness facility, Altea Active is completed in Bridgewater Centre in just 13 months.
  • Projects Go Digital

    Concord invests in a cloud-based digital construction management system to transform its service offering to clients and improve collaboration with consultants and subtrades.
