Nolan Ploegman
President & CEO
Nolan was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and joined Concord Projects in 2005. He oversees all aspects of the company, leading a team of experienced construction professionals. Nolan attained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) as well as a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours), majoring in finance and accounting, from the Asper School of Business. Nolan is passionate about philanthropy, technology in construction, and integrating Concord’s vision, mission, and values into all aspects of the company. Nolan’s experience and knowledge in real estate development, real estate investing, and property management also provide clients with added value. Nolan and his wife Rachel have three children, enjoy family time together at the cabin and travelling as time allows.
Harald Schulz
Senior Vice President, Pre-Construction
Harald started at Concord Projects in 1988 and has accumulated extensive experience in facilities and project management, land development, civic liaison, job costing and contract negotiations. His primary focus with the company today is leading the Pre-Construction team to assist project owners to thoroughly plan, and effectively allocate resources for their projects to be completely shovel ready. By developing a project business plan that is suited to the unique and specific needs of the project, Harald fosters strong relationships with our valued clients and project partners. Harald graduated from Red River College with a Business Administration Diploma with Honours and has invested in his own professional development through numerous industry continuing education courses.
Bryan Rychliski
Vice President, Pre-Construction
Bryan Rychliski has been helping our clients successfully plan and build their projects since he joined the company in 2012. Bryan first served on the construction team supervising projects before he joined the Pre-Construction department to foster early client and consultant relationships. In his current role, Bryan provides leadership to the Pre-Construction management team. A graduate of the Israel Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba, Bryan holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree.
Ed Belisle
Senior Vice President, Construction
Ed Belisle has been contributing to our clients' and Concord's success for over 17 years in his roles as both a construction supervisor and manager. As Senior Vice President of Construction, Ed leads a portfolio of projects within the Construction Department, with a special focus on construction staff development and post-construction and warranty programs. Ed studied Civil Engineering Technology at Red River College and holds an Office and Business Administration Diploma from Assiniboine Community College.
Martin Lam
Vice President, Construction
Since joining Concord Projects in 1998, Martin has worked his way up through the construction department, starting as an on-site supervisor and rising to his current role overseeing the entire construction department, together with Ed Belisle. In addition to managing a portfolio of projects, Martin draws on his decades of experience to lead Concord's quality control and health and safety programs. Martin is a Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) and is Gold Seal Certified by the Canadian Construction Association. He holds a Diploma of Civil Technology from Red River College and a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Manitoba.
Lindsay Kell
Vice President, Accounting & Finance
Lindsay joined Concord Projects in 2021 to lead the accounting team in their regular cycle of project accounting and reporting to clients. In addition, she adds value to the management team through her reporting and treasury functions, and leading process modernization initiatives. Lindsay brings considerable accounting experience from her past roles in public practice and aerospace. A Certified Professional Accountant (CPA CGA), Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with Honours and a Bachelor of Arts, both from the University of Manitoba.
Morgan Johnson
Vice President, People & Culture
Morgan joined Concord Projects in 2020 to help intentionally grow and modernize Concord’s people programs and services to attract and retain the best in the industry. Her portfolio includes recruitment, workplace culture development, staff development, employee relations, policy and practice. Morgan worked for more than a decade with local and national top employers. She holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Human Resource Management Diploma, and a Management Certificate, from the University of Winnipeg.
Ted Paetkau
Founder
As a professional engineer, Ted has worked in the construction industry since 1972 and founded Concord Projects Ltd. in 1978. Although no longer actively managing the day-to-day operations of the company, Ted is still involved in select projects and provides his oversight, guidance and experience to the Management Team. Ted also founded the Concord Projects Foundation in 2017. Ted is a Board Member and Past Chair of iDE-Canada and also a Board Member of iDE International.
